You enter a quieter part of Ishaura Central.
A long line of lights stretches across the space ahead.
The middle light does not pull you anywhere.
It waits for you to notice where you are.
The Scales do not decide who you are. They help you notice which way a moment is moving.
You may have come from the Ishaura Central map, a saved page, a direct link, or another place in the Universe. However you arrived, you can begin here.
02 is the mark for Scavenger Hunt Mission 02. The trail begins at the Sanctuary Compass and ends here at The Scales of Ishaura.

Scales of Ishaura
This is not a score of good or bad. It is a tool for noticing direction and development.
The number tells you how far that movement has developed.
A number is not your identity. It is only a reading of one moment, pattern, or situation. A reading can change when your choices, conditions, or understanding change.
Stand at the Center
The center light does not tell you to go left or right.
0 — Liminal means the direction is not clear yet. Something is happening, but you may still be noticing, learning, or deciding what to do.
Move left to see what happens when a pattern keeps moving away from coherence—when the parts of life stop working well together. Move right to see what happens when a pattern keeps moving toward coherence—when the parts begin working better together.
Then come back to the center and use the Scales with one real part of your life.
You are not choosing the number you want. You are noticing the movement that is already happening.
How do you want to use the Scales?
You can learn the Scale, place one real moment on it, or come back later to see what changed.
Touch any point from −9 through +9. You will see what it means, what can happen if the pattern keeps going, and what kind of next movement may help.
Place a moment on the Scales.
The Scales do not measure your worth. They do not give you a permanent number. They help you look at the direction and development of one situation right now.
The reading is based on the answers you give. You can change an answer, try again, or get a different reading for another part of your life.
There is no best answer. You can be unsure. You can go back. You can change an answer.
Which answer is closest to true right now?
Liminal
A relationship can read differently from a goal. Work can read differently from home. The same situation can also change over time.
The lens changed. You did not.
You can come back and look again.
An old reading is not a final answer. Choose one and answer the questions again using what is true now.
Take a Living Reading first. Later, you can compare it with a new reading.
Answer the questions again. Then compare the old reading with the new one.
Answer the Call
The threshold does not demand an answer. It asks whether you will hear what is calling you. Pause long enough to notice the signal, then choose whether to follow it.
Threshold Quest
What is life asking you to notice right now?
The Right Side Is Not a Prize.
Moving toward coherence—when things work better together—does not mean everything is easy. You may still need rest, repair, practice, or a new plan.
Moving away from coherence—when things pull farther apart—does not make you bad. It gives you information you can use.
The Scales help because patterns can be hard to notice once they start repeating.
You can come back and look again.
How to Read the Scale
First read the sign: −, 0, or +. That tells you the direction. Then read the number: 1 through 9. That tells you how far the pattern has grown.
−1 → −9
Illuvion is Ishaura’s name for movement away from coherence. If the pattern keeps repeating, it can become stronger and affect more of life. These numbers are information, not punishment.
0
Liminal is Ishaura’s name for the living middle. The direction is not clear yet. You can pause, notice, listen, choose, or wait for more information.
+1 → +9
Ishaura is the side of the Scale that moves toward coherence. As the pattern grows, it can move from a first choice into action, routines, relationships, learning, sharing, and completion.
You do not become a number. You notice a movement, then decide what you want to do next.
The Living Book
Every passage or Living Reading you intentionally preserve becomes part of your evolving record. A reading records what you brought to the Scales, where the instrument stopped, what you noticed, and what movement you chose. When you return later, the earlier reading becomes a reference point for change—not a permanent identity.
