Plane of Ishori
The place before form remembers the one who entered it.
There is no floor here.
No sky. No distance. Only a field that feels older than the question that brought you.
You reach for your name. It does not disappear. It simply feels very far away.
Something in you knows this place without remembering how.
The Jester is already there.
Of course he is.
He watches five faint currents begin to gather below you and turns a blank coin across his fingers.
“You keep looking for the door with your name on it.”
His smile bends sideways.
“Up here, the doors have not learned your name yet.”
Then, for once, he grows quiet.
“I open beginnings. She remembers what was here before beginnings needed doors.”
Sophia does not enter.
The light simply becomes aware of you.
The Jester is still there, but the bells on his coat no longer make a sound.
A voice reaches you without crossing the distance between you.
“Before you learned to say I, you were already held in AM.”
Nothing is explained. Still, something in you recognizes the sentence as if you once knew it by heart.
Five ways of becoming begin to glow.
Not five rankings. Not five kinds of worth. Five ways a soul may enter experience.
The Ishori does not disappear when one current answers.
The soul descends. The I begins to gather a life. The Spiral begins to remember through form.
The Jester tosses it anyway.
One face reads I.
The other reads AM.
It falls through the light toward a life that has not happened yet.
Sophia watches it go.
“Go learn what your I can become when it remembers what it is held by.”
When you are ready to move again.
The next threshold will still be there when this encounter is complete.
You do not have to leave before you are finished here.
